BUILDINGS RESTORED BY OWNERS

In our original proposal we committed to encouraging Falmouth home owners, who were financially able, to repair and restore their houses. To date at least eight persons have spent funds to improve their properties. The estimated amount spent by private owners to restore their properties is J$3,248,000.00. While the homeowners restored their own buildings, in a few cases the project's senior carpenter/trainer offered free advice on how to accomplish certain tasks.
