PRIVATE SECTOR ASSISTANCE & PARTICIPATION

A commitment was made to FRC and EFJ by the project manager to seek assistance from the private sector. In this regard the following support was received.

An artist, Mrs. Tammy Hart, donated her time to act as a paint scheme consultant on each house. This assistance has an estimated value of J$42,000.00 or J$3,000 per building. Mrs. Hart will continue to assist us when the project restarts.

Mr. Ed Chappell, Director of Architectural Research for Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, USA, came to Falmouth at his own expense and spent two weeks assisting with the evaluation of each house in the Historic District and assisted in the preparation of a priority restoration list for the project. His participation has a value of J$178,000.00. Mr. Chappell will return when needed. More>>
