A dance for a decade has come to an end. In 2006, a Panmedia proposal for website design went unheeded. Intermittent checks since only brought promises. But ten years later, we finally developed a new website for the Advanced Integrated Systems (AIS), an IT solutions company.

The website showcases AIS’s solutions for finance, health, hospitality and print and its wide range of electronic office products. A focal point is AIS’s partnership with Quisk, which operates similar to a debit account without the cash requirement, a plastic card or even a mobile phone to make a purchase. You simply enter a mobile phone number and PIN at a participating merchant. There is a How it Works video on the website with more details.

AIS is a leading transaction processing provider in health insurance and financial services. It is also the largest processor of online, real-time, and paperless, health claims in the region.

The redesigned site features more interaction to encourage customer and stakeholder engagement. The site we delivered has a roomier layout, improved content structuring and cleaner coding. It also performs at higher speeds and is mobile optimized. Panmedia used a responsive design so the site will adapt to various screen sizes and devices.

We employed the Drupal CMS and Bootstrap framework and Drupal’s Taxonomy feature to create a clean easy-to-navigate product showcase with breadcrumbs for further simplicity.

Other features include:

  • An attractive home page slideshow with focal statements.
  • Filtered product listing
  • A job search for vacancies with facility to apply online.
  • Standards compliant code and practices to enhance search engine friendliness, improve accessibility and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • A content management system (CMS) for timesaving website updates by the client.

An expected phase two will include e-commerce for AIS’s extensive product line and live chat for customer support in the provider solutions. We will develop the e-commerce software in-house while live chat will be implemented with a third party package.

AIS partners with some of the world’s leading technology companies, including McKesson, Suvarna, Hypercom, (Oracle) Micros, Konica Minolta, TallyGenicom, NeoPost, Quisk and others.
