New web presence for Petcom

Petcom LogoWanting its own on-line branding, and functionality to serve its clients, Petcom recently decided to repurpose its web presence.

Established in 1973, the company is government’s sole marketing company of petroleum products. Till now, its details had been limited to a section of the web site of its parent company, the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica.

Panmedia went through the now standard tender process for Government agencies and was later short-listed. At the contract signing, Petcom indicated that our content skills and the many ideas we presented won the day.

Some features of the Petcom website now under development.

  • Conformance to the Access to Information Act

    Panmedia will provide tools to make it easy to get timely information to the website. Documents will be available for downloads and users will also be provided with a form to request documents from Petcom.

  • Directory of Service Stations & Cooking Gas Distributors

    Users will be able to browse/search an up-to-date directory of Petcom’s Service Stations and Cooking Gas Distributors. They will also be able to find contact information, opening hours, services offered and locations for each Station/Distributors.  Petcom will also get a user-friendly interface for managing and updating the database.

  • Website to be powered by Drupal

    The Petcom website will include the increasingly popular and robust content management system, Drupal. Panmedia has been using Drupal for more than four years now to power the dynamically driven sites it delivers.
