Panmedia Visits Mandeville

Published: February 14, 2006 - 12:00am

Panmedia visited Mandeville last weekend to scout for a venue for Use Less. Pay Less. ,  the energy conservation and efficiency exhibition we developed for the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica.

We looked at several spaces, including the Bloomfield Greathouse, the Manchester Parish Museum (which opens Feb. 19), Manchester High School, the Anglican Church Hall, the Mandeville Library, and the Golf View and Mandeville hotels.

The exhibition is scheduled for Mandeville in March.

The exhibition was first mounted in Kingston at the PCJ auditorium during Energy Conservation Month last October. The Prime Minister P.J. Patterson visited the exhibition as did Minister of Commerce, Science & Technology Phillip Paulwell. It includes story panels on energy conservation, video presentations, brochures, energy efficient technology displays, and booths with exhibitor products.
