The Kiwanis Club Division 23 East held a virtual mental health fair that focused on stress management during the pandemic. More than 100 youngsters from Kiwanis service leadership projects like Key Club and Circle K in the division or living at the Homestead Place of Safety attended sessions led by certified clinical psychologists. They were taught how to identify and deal with stressors and stress management techniques including deep breathing, planning ahead and setting realistic goals.

The Zoom event was part of the wider “Kiwanis One Day” initiative when the club donated tablets and computers to Homestead and hand sanitiser stations and a clothes dryer to the Glenhope Place of Safety. They also performed health checks on the children.

Bless up for supporting our children in these tough times!
