Emerging markets like Jamaica need economic growth and development to generate jobs, enhance infrastructure, and give citizens a better quality of life. Access to capital and credit brings such opportunities through the affordable financing the Development Bank of Jamaica provides.
Now the DBJ gets a chance to highlight its work and promote its products and services online. The Bank has awarded Panmedia its new web site design and development.
Panmedia is already familiar with the institution’s role in national development, having designed a site some years ago for the National Investment Bank of Jamaica, which was folded into the DBJ a year ago. We have also designed sites for the Ex-Im Bank and Factories Corporation of Jamaica (both to be launched), two institutions that somewhat complement the work of DBJ.
Working in this space, we understand the challenges and needs of such institutions. The new site will become DBJ’s main point of presence and will offer functionality for users of the Bank’s services.
