Everyone’s talking energy. And rightly so! Used correctly, energy can drive national development. Squandered, it can break a local economy.

That’s why the Development Bank of Jamaica has been very active in the local business community, encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises to replace antiquated infrastructure with new energy efficient equipment and machinery, and to take advantage of low-interest loans to cover the expense of these retrofits.

Panmedia is working closely with the Bank in taking its energy efficiency message to the public. We designed a website for DBJ GreenBiz, and write and produce a monthly E-Newsletter on energy efficiency and conservation, in addition to providing marketing and communications support.

Now we are in the middle of planning the DBJ GreenBiz Energy Fair that will be held at one of Kingston’s great outdoor spaces, Emancipation Park, Friday October 12, 2012, 10am to 6pm.

The energy fair will enable consumers to engage businesses that supply energy products and services. It will also offer a useful opportunity for energy suppliers, small and medium-sized enterprises, banks, energy experts, non-governmental organization and government agencies to join with the Development Bank of Jamaica in sharing energy saving best practices, showcase products and services, and to network with others in the industry.

An Outside Broadcast on RJR’s Hotline, a deejay and live entertainment will add to the enjoyment of this event.
